They physically moved her bones. They moved her collar bone lower. I hope stuff like this makes people realize how ridiculous the media is.
this is so depressing.
this makes me so angry!
oH MYGOD I HATE THE MEDIA
In case you’re ever wondering why you don’t look like the girls on the covers of magazines: neither do they.
*heavy sigh*
I spent a considerable amount of time in junior high hating myself because I didn’t look like the girls in Seventeen. Then I made a deliberate choice to never read women’s magazines. In college, I had a subscription to GQ. The articles were better, and if I was going to long for something I couldn’t have, why not make it an attractive, well-dressed man rather than a body and face that would never be mine?
you know i don’t even get it. the changes are so slight and the original model looks pretty good on her own. I don’t see why magazines in general feel the need to waste their time and resources making these silly minor edits
i mean i don’t think anyone would not buy the magazine if her collar bone was a little bit higher than they wanted it to be.
I get it, that the magazines want to display an unnatural standard of beauty. But why even exert the extra effort?
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Celebrities (other than Chris Brown) who have committed violence against women
In 1988, Sean Penn tied then-wife Madonna to a chair and beat her with a baseball bat.
Charlie Sheen was arrested for violently assaulting adult film actress Capri Anderson.
Roman Polanski raped of a 13-year-old girl before fleeing the country.
Michael Fassbender was charged in 2010 with beating an ex-girlfriend.
Gary Oldman hit ex-wife Donya Fiorentino repeatedly about the face with a telephone receiver in front of their two children.
Sean Connery thinks an openhanded slap is justified if a woman is a “bitch, or hysterical, or bloody-minded.”
Feel free to add to the list.
additions from the notes:
Josh Brolin was arrested for abusing Diane Lane in 2004.
Glen Campbell beat Tanya Tucker and on one occasion knocked her teeth out. Glen actually received a tribute at the 2012 Grammy Awards—the same year that Chris Brown received so much vitriol for performing.
Jonathan Rhys Meyers was arrested in 2005 after he was accused of beating up his teenage girlfriend and throwing a cellphone at her. The 27-year-old actor later made a counter allegation that the 18-year-old girlfriend had assaulted him. The warring couple were both questioned at a London police station before being released on bail. He was also verbally abusive and threatening to a woman who tried to help him up off the floor during one of his drunken airport episodes. “Don’t you know who I am?” Yes dear, you’re the King of fucking England.
Harry Morgan, best known for his role as Col. Sherman Potter in the television series “MASH,” was accused in July 1996 of beating his wife.
Sean Bean has been arrested for harassing an ex girlfriend and has been reported for domestic assault.
Tommy Lee pleaded no contest in April 1998 to a felony charge of spousal battery against his wife, former “Baywatch” star Pamela Anderson. Lee received a three-year suspended prison sentence, was required to spend 180 days in jail and ordered to pay a total of $6,200 to a shelter for battered women. Anderson, who filed for divorce shortly after the incident, reportedly had hoped her husband would be spared jail time.

There is not enough Bleach in this world to scrub this image out of my mind.
In a Louisiana public school, female students who are suspected of being pregnant are told that they must take a pregnancy test. Under school policy, those who are pregnant or refuse to take the test are kicked out and forced to undergo home schooling.
Welcome to Delhi Charter School, in Delhi, Louisiana, a school of 600 students that does not believe its female students have a right to education free from discrimination. According to its Student Pregnancy Policy, the school has a right to not only force testing upon girls, but to send them to a physician of the school administration’s choice. A positive test result, or failure to take the test at all, means administrators can forbid a girl from taking classes and force her to pursue a course of home study if she wishes to continue her education with the school.
This is in blatant violation of federal law and the U.S. Constitution.
seriously. what the fuck.
But there is no war on women, right?
no seriously….what the actual fuck
Honestly if someone forced me to take a pregnancy test, I would refuse. I think my parents would refuse also. That’s seriously none of their business. A school is where you go to get education, not for them to know your sexual life. Also I think I’d be pretty offended if they thought I was pregnant somewhat, I think I’d also be violated at the most. I don’t know, I just don’t believe this is right for them to do this what so ever.
what the fuck guys
there’s no fucking way a school can tell me what goddamn doctor to go to, either.
this is not how you do education you guys

i morphed gollum and hong kong……..

A couple days ago I saw a sally tell a girl to kill herself for disagreeing with her, justifying it with the fact that she (the sally) once tried to commit suicide.
